As we end 2025 and prepare for the new year, I wanted to pause and express my deepest appreciation for your support and share some updates about my consulting work. It remains profoundly fulfilling to collaborate with clients to develop leaders, build effective teams, and enhance organizational success.
This year was filled with numerous leadership development and strategic planning projects. Although there are some differences across industries, there are many similarities related to leadership and strategy:
- Most leaders could spend more time communicating their vision and the “why” behind the work of their organization.
- Flexible and adaptable strategic thinking is more important than the traditional multi-year strategic plan.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing how organizations operate and how leaders spend their time.
I have spent a lot of time learning about and experimenting with AI in my consulting work. As AI continues to accelerate efficiency, there is a great opportunity for leaders to focus on human-centric leadership. AI can provide leaders with more time to develop individuals, think strategically, build effective teams, and utilize their strengths in high value work.
In addition to the leadership and strategy consulting work, I wanted to share a few updates:
- I continue my role as Executive in Residence and Faculty Director for the Master of Science in Leadership at the University of Evansville. I am teaching graduate courses in leadership and strategy, and I have enjoyed providing specialized, on-campus workshops for the business community.
- Last year, we launched TAD Campaign Advising (tadcampaign.com). We’ve worked with multiple successful capital campaigns for nonprofits and schools.
- Meaningful work with the Evansville Promise Neighborhood has continued. This $30 million federal grant provides incredible support for underserved families in this area.
As you plan for the opportunities and challenges of the new year, please know that I am here to help you and your teams achieve clarity in strategy and excellence in leadership. You can contact me here.
I wish you a fulfilling and successful 2026!
Sincerely,
Tad Dickel, Ph.D.
