Catholic school planned giving was written to help schools enhance operational vitality through the establishment and growth of planned giving societies. Although many Catholic schools are struggling financially, alumni and former parents who understand the value of Catholic schools want to see them thrive. This book provides schools with a flexible framework for developing a legacy society that recognizes planned gifts and endowments.

The book is designed to help staff, pastors, board members, and other lay leaders establish a planned giving society at their school. Templates and other helpful resources are included to make the process as efficient as possible.

Dickel shared, “I sincerely hope this book will help more Catholic schools achieve long-term sustainability through planned giving and endowments. Most school development programs are focused on annual giving, and schools could benefit from planned giving. This book recognizes that Catholic schools have limited staffing resources, and a small investment in time could result in significant gifts in the future.”
